Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone – c. 1968
A beautiful Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone in original gold lacquer, serial number 159164. Based on the serial number, this instrument dates from approximately 1968.
This Mark VI has the normal signs of use, lacquer wear and discoloration that are appropriate for the age and use of an authentic vintage instrument. Precisely because of this, the saxophone has a beautiful, natural appearance, with the original gold lacquer and engraving well preserved.
A special advantage of this particular instrument is the high F# key. This is a sought-after and practical addition that is not present on every Mark VI from this period.
