"My name is Johan van Buijsen, and I turned my hobby into my profession."

What started as a passion for collecting vintage saxophones gradually developed into a love for restoring and bringing these unique instruments back to life. Because skilled repair technicians are often difficult to find — and usually expensive — I decided to fully immerse myself in the craft.

From my home workshop in Haarlem, I now carry out a wide range of repairs and restorations with care and precision, including complete overhauls, lacquer removal, cork/felt/pad replacement, adjustments, and professional restoration work.

In addition to repairs and accessories, I also offer carefully selected and professionally inspected vintage saxophones, with a particular focus on American and French instruments — each with its own story, sound, and character.

Everything is done with attention to detail, craftsmanship, and an affordable approach.
